One such product is the Angry Hawk bird scarer (picture above). We have built several prototypes. We plan on offering a unit that has a portable base, as shown, and also a version that can be easily mounted to a standard metal fencepost.
We have also built several prototypes of what we call the Scare-inator (shown below). This guy is an inflatable that is equipped with a electronic timer and controls. The fan powered unit will activate for 20 seconds every 10-15 minutes. Included are a siren and strobe light. It does a good job of mimicing a human.
We also have plans in the works to introduce a new type of propane cannon. These bird control devices (shown below) have long been staples in agricultural crop production. The problem is that the are extremely loud, around 125 or more decibels and are often not used properly. They can become a terrible nuisance to neighbors and livestock. We hope to offer a unit that produces and slightly lower sound level and electronically controlled to prohibit the operator from firing nearly continuously and that will be more effective that a standard cannon.
One other project we have is the Robo Scarebot boat. It is a autonoumous boat to be used in scaring fish-eating birds away from ponds and fisheries. We have licensed this technology from the LSU AgCenter and hope to have a product available for purchase in the spring of 2013.
We have been working on our Predator Feather product as well!
